About Us

History

Pope Earthmoving was established by Garry Pope in 2007 as a 100% Australian family owned business. Garry started Contracting as an owner-operator with his first D7E Dozer around Townsville. Garry also established himself as a mobile Boiler Making initially with a welder and generator on the back of his Ute. Over the years Pope Earthmoving has invested in modern equipment and machinery, and a large multi-purpose Workshop in Black River, Townsville.

We continually improve our business performance and conduct operations in an environmentally responsible manner. We commit to fostering the sustainable use of the Earth’s resources by “treading lightly”, recognising the approach of Australia’s Indigenous people in minimising our impact on the land.
